Flower & bouquet e-commerce marketplace for the Uzbekistan market. Joined as founding backend engineer and built the entire platform and its production infrastructure from scratch. ● Architected and built the platform's backend from the ground up using NestJS and MongoDB, and designed the production infrastructure end-to-end on Kubernetes, owning the system through 3+ years of growth. ● Designed a microservices architecture following Clean Architecture principles; identified and merged duplicate/overlapping modules to reduce technical debt and simplify the codebase. ● Implemented asynchronous job processing with BullMQ for order workflows, notifications, and background tasks, and built a Redis-based event manager to coordinate real-time events across services. ● Designed a dynamic module / dynamic page system that lets the app's homepage and content be reconfigured and personalized without a redeploy. ● Built a multi-role CRM with granular role-based access control for internal operations, support, and sales teams. ● Led integrations across the platform: Firebase for big-data/event tracking, AppsFlyer and PostHog for marketing attribution and product analytics, and tax (soliq) system integration for fiscal compliance. ● Built ticketing and reporting modules for customer support workflows and business/analytics reporting. ● Integrated multiple bank and payment providers for order transactions, and multiple delivery/logistics providers (Yandex, myTaxi, Millenium, Noor, Ok-Sam) for order fulfillment. ● Designed an automated 'delayed order' calling system that triggers an outbound phone call to customers when their order is running late. ● Set up Elasticsearch for platform search and partnered with another engineer to deliver image-based product search. ● Built a dedicated file-storage microservice on top of MinIO (S3-compatible), operating 60+ GiB across 580,000+ objects in production. ● Implemented scheduled cron jobs for recurring platform maintenance, reminders, and data syncs. ● Owned the full DevOps lifecycle: containerized all services with Docker, ran production on Kubernetes with HPA autoscaling, built CI/CD pipelines, and administered Ubuntu servers, Nginx, and SSL/TLS certificates. ● Built an internal analytics platform from scratch — 80+ MongoDB aggregation endpoints and a 13-tab dashboard covering GMV, NPS, order completion rate, and funnel conversion for business stakeholders.
